Liturgy of Lament and Hope
St Christopher’s Cathedral
7.30pm, Tuesday, 4 April
Archbishop Christopher presiding
Following the Royal Commission’s revelation
of the extent of the tragedy of child sexual abuse
within the Catholic Church across Australia,
we will gather in pain and disillusionment,
in anger and confusion,
in sadness, seeking hope.
We will gather for one thing only:
to raise our hearts and voices and very bodies to God,
that they may be touched in their brokenness,
and know the transforming power of God’s love in Christ.
All welcome
