Advisory Panel
In 2017 a review was undertaken by Dr Juliet Lucy into the process leading to the decision by the Archdiocese to place a priest with sustained findings of inappropriate behaviour into Lanigan House. One of the key recommendations of Dr Lucy’s review was for the establishment of an advisory panel to provide advice to the Archbishop and Institute of Professional Standards and Safeguarding. Following consultation with stakeholders including Child Protection Advocates the attached Terms of Reference have been promulgated. Membership of the Advisory Panel is in the process of being resolved and once appointed the Advisory Panel will be called together for its inaugural meeting.
