Want to live longer? John the Baptist has the answer.

‘He who comes from above is above all others;
he who is born of the earth is earthly himself
and speaks in an earthly way.’

Jesus is fully divine. This is the claim that has sparked 2000 years of controversy. In Him, we find the Christ, the Messiah, the Saviour and the Son of God. To encounter the person of Jesus Christ is to go on a journey of discovering God. He comes to witness to humanity the reality of heaven. Through Him, we can experience the meaning of life, to love without reserve.

Jesus is fully human. God spoke Jesus into existence, creating him as the Son of Man. God entrusted everything to Jesus in His humanity. Therefore, God entrusts everything to us.

This theology of incarnation shapes our lives, our relationships and our understanding of the world. Jesus, fully divine and fully human, is the one who walks with us, constantly inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him.

In Him, we experience the perfect articulation of two previously separate realities: heaven and humanity. To look to Him is to gaze into the eyes of God; to follow Him is to live our life to it’s fullest.

So how can you live longer?

‘Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life.’ The perfection of our lives is heaven: to live in an intimate union with God: to be in a state of pure grace, experiencing pure love, for eternity. This is the life Jesus promises.

Are you ready to live it?
