St. Thomas, one of the twelve, was not present when Jesus first appeared in his glorious resurrection. Eight days later he was present.

Thomas was granted the gift of touching Jesus’ wounds. Imagine it? Well, you must! John’s Gospel invites you.

If you do use your imagination, you will, along with Thomas, not only touch Jesus’ wounds, but you will also exclaim, “My Lord and my God.”

That’s right. God is my God.

He belongs to me. I belong to him. He belongs to you. You belong to him.

Incredible! God, the Creator of me, is mine.

Amen.
