Impossible to Count

1 November 2018

Today is the feast of All Saints. John, the apostle, had a vision:

“I saw a huge number, impossible to count, of people from every nation, race, tribe and language” (Rev 7).

The word Catholic means “universal.” Some faiths and denominations have to set up their own culture to be effective. Not so Catholicism.

Take a few minutes today and appreciate the fact that when you go to Mass in Australia you encounter people from every nation, race, tribe and language. It is marvellous, don’t you think?

Furthermore, pray for them and thank God for them.

Amen.
