Walk in the Light

Advent begins with the theme of “light”:
O House of Jacob, come let us walk in the light of the Lord (Isaiah 2).
And one of our Eucharistic Prayers has precisely this theme of walking in the light:
Grant that all the faithful of the Church, looking into the signs of the times by the light of faith, may constantly devote themselves to the service of the Gospel (Jesus the Way to the Father).
Nourished by Word and Sacrament, we gain the wisdom and the strength to engage our times with the light of faith.
