Marriage Enrichment

The Marriage Course is a series of seven two hour sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. Think of it as “professional development for your marriage”.

The Archdiocese is running courses via zoom throughout the year. Participate from the comfort and privacy of your own home while feeling supported on the journey by other married couples.

A mentoring program for couples in their early years of marriage.

Each year for 5 years the newly married couple is matched up with a new mentor couple who meets with them 4 times a year to explore issues shown by research to be pertinent to building good foundations in early married life.

So over 5 years, the newly married couple gains insight into 20 important topics as well as experiencing 5 different mature marriages.

Ministry to the Newly Married aims to foster the development of relationship skills, broaden a couple’s understanding of each other and assist them in the living out of the sacrament of marriage.

Pope Francis has declared March 2021- June 2022 the Year Amoris Laetitia Family. The aim of the year is to help us reflect on the teaching of Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia Family and to place the family at the centre of all the Church’s pastoral initiatives.

Various projects will take place locally and globally including the production of 10 videos by Pope Francis explaining various aspects of the teaching of Amoris Laetitia. For more information watch this space and check out the Vatican website here.
