Marriage Enrichment

As marriages become healthier and stronger, couples discover that God has called them, through their marriage, into a partnership to transform society.

The Archdiocese runs courses that combine face-to-face and zoom sessions each year, dependent on expressions of interest in participating. Participate from the comfort and privacy of your own home as well as meeting a couple of times with those undertaking the course and feel supported on your marriage journey by other married couples.

Whether you’ve been married for 6 weeks or 60 years, the Marriage Course can assist you to strengthen your relationship.

A mentoring program for couples in their early years of marriage.

Each year for 5 years the newly married couple is matched up with a new mentor couple who meets with them 4 times a year to explore issues shown by research to be pertinent to building good foundations in early married life.

So over 5 years, the newly married couple gains insight into 20 important topics as well as experiencing 5 different mature marriages.

Ministry to the Newly Married aims to foster the development of relationship skills, broaden a couple’s understanding of each other and assist them in the living out of the sacrament of marriage.
