Extensions to ACT WWVP registration
On 1 July 2020, the Working with Vulnerable People registration period will be extended from three years to five years for all registrations. To avoid any disadvantage for individuals who registered or renewed in the 2019-20 financial year, registrations received between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 will be extended at the end of the three-year period by an additional two years at no further cost to the applicant. The extension will be added at the end of the three-year statutory registration period.
Renew online: A renewal fee of $135.00 applies to people who are employed to work with vulnerable people. Renewal is free for volunteers, however if the volunteer also works in a regulated activity they are still required to pay the $135.00 fee. These fees are current from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.
