Volunteer Requirements
All employees and volunteers working in any capacity with children in Archdiocesan parishes must have:
- a Working with Children Check (NSW) or Working with Vulnerable Person Registration (ACT)
- submitted a signed a copy of the Archdiocesan Child Protection Code of Conduct to their local parish office.
Your details must also be kept up to date. There are fines that apply if you do not have the appropriate check and/or do not keep your details updated.

| Not having an up to date WWCC means you could be penalised via two years imprisonment, or a fine of 240 penalty units maximum or both. | It is an offence for a person to work or volunteer in a regulated activity without a WWVP registration. In this situation, fines up to $7,000 and/or 2 years imprisonment can apply. |
