Volunteer Requirements
All employees and volunteers working in any capacity with children in Archdiocesan parishes must have:
- a Working with Children Check (NSW) or Working with Vulnerable Person Registration (ACT)
- submitted a signed a copy of the Archdiocesan Child Protection Code of Conduct to their local parish office.
- *and for Catechists ONLY, they must have completed the CCRESS Child Protection Module
- Access Code: ccress-cp-2022
Your details must also be kept up to date. There are fines that apply if you do not have the appropriate check and/or do not keep your details updated.

Not having an up to date WWCC means you could be penalised via two years imprisonment, or a fine of 240 penalty units maximum or both. | It is an offence for a person to work or volunteer in a regulated activity without a WWVP registration. In this situation, fines up to $7,000 and/or 2 years imprisonment can apply. |
