Vocations Week 4 – 11 August 2024

National Vocations Awareness Week is being celebrated from 4 – 11 August this year, beginning on the Feast of St. John Vianney and including the feast of our St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Here in our Archdiocese, we are hosting our Holy Hour for vocations on August 6th at 6 p.m.
The Holy Hour will include Vespers sung by the Cathedral choir, some time for silence, and the rosary concluding with Benediction.

Vocations Dinner and Holy Hour for single men

God has a plan for your life. You can only discover this if you are willing to stop and listen to his voice. Each first Thursday of the month, there is a Holy Hour and dinner at Archbishop’s House for single men who are open to the possibility that God might be calling them to the priesthood and want to explore this further. The evening provides an opportunity to pray together and to share. For more information, contact Father Emil Milat, emil.milat@cg.org.au
