Community brings Christmas cheer

Bringing Christmas cheer, the Missionaries of God’s Love (MGL) and Disciples of Jesus (DOJ) community recently put on a spirited fair for the residents of Gowrie Court.

The day was filled with excitement and Christmas joy as the residents took part in many festivities such as dart throwing, pin the star on the tree, massage, manicure, craft, hair cutting, trash n treasure, gifts, prizes and lots of food.

The community formed a small choir to sing carols and certainly bought in the vibe of the season, followed by a guest appearance of Kirk and Co folk band.

Archbishop Christopher Prowse’s presence at the fair was highly regarded especially among residents as he mingled and imparted a Christmas blessing.
