Background

‘My Family, My Faith’ was launched as a family magazine in May 2011, by the then Archbishop of Canberra and Goulburn, Mark Coleridge.  It was set up to communicate with, and support, families sending their children to Catholic schools.

A copy of ‘My Family, My Faith’ goes into the home of every family sending their children to Catholic schools across the Archdiocese.  The magazine has a talented team of ‘Mum and Dad’ columnists who write about the highs and lows, the joys and challenges, of family life.  They also write about their faith; how it helps their family life and how they try to pass it on to their kids.

Since its inception, ‘My Family, My Faith’ has been a real success, with readers describing the columns and feature articles as relevant, interesting and entertaining.

The magazine’s growing readership confirms the real desire among families for education and resources that support and promote positive values in marriage and family life, which are key priorities for them.

The ‘My Family, My Faith‘ blog seeks to build on the success of the family magazine.  We hope the blog, and magazine, will situate ‘My Family, My Faith’ as the ‘go to place’ for families seeking information, support and learning in the context of the Christian faith.
